We went to collect our new Variety Club Sunshine Coach from Hindhead Golfclub on 24th September.
The idea for this started 3 years ago when Ms Kim, one of our teaching assistants decided that she was going to fundraise for a new bus by walking a marathon from Bognor Regis to Brighton. She alongside several staff and students raised over £7000 as a started for our fundraising.
Since then we have squirrelled money away to reach our target to be considered for a bus
We would like to thank Zak Summerscale and his wife Angie, from the Summerscale Foundation, who agreed to fund the additional costs of the bus. It was lovely to meet them in July and again when we went to Hindhead to collect the bus.
