Safeguarding

Safeguarding at Central Hub Brighton

At Central Hub Brighton, we are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people in our care. We expect every member of our community—including staff, volunteers, and visitors—to share this commitment.

Our staff are well placed to identify concerns early, offer support, promote pupils’ wellbeing, and prevent issues from escalating. We also work to educate pupils about how to keep themselves and others safe.

Our safeguarding policies help create an open and supportive environment where pupils and staff feel confident to raise concerns, knowing they will be taken seriously. When needed, we work closely with support services and external agencies to ensure that children receive the right help at the right time. Every member of our community plays an important role in maintaining this culture of safeguarding.

All staff receive training to recognise the signs of abuse and understand their responsibilities in protecting pupils from harm. We follow clear and consistent procedures whenever concerns arise, ensuring that all matters are handled sensitively and appropriately.
