These dates apply to community schools in the city, maintained by the council. They do not include all of our Central Hub Brighton Inset days that we will announce nearer the time (and vary from site to site).
Autumn 2024
- Term starts on Tuesday 3 September for most pupils
- Monday 2 September is usually an INSET day, but check with individual schools
- Half term is Monday 28 October to Friday 1 November
- Term ends on Friday 20 December
Spring 2025
- Term starts on Monday 6 January
- Half term is Monday 17 February to Friday 21 February
- Term ends on Friday 4 April
Summer 2025
- Term starts on Tuesday 22 April
- Half term is Tuesday 27 May to Friday 30 May
- Term ends on Tuesday 22 July
