These dates apply to community schools in the city, maintained by the council. They do not include all of our Central Hub Brighton Inset days that we will announce nearer the time (and vary from site to site).
Autumn 2023
- Term starts on Friday 1st September for most pupils
- Friday 1 September is usually an INSET day
- Half term is Monday 23rd October to Friday 27th October
- Term ends on Friday 15th December
Spring 2024
- Term starts on Tuesday 2nd January
- Half term is Monday 12th February to Friday 16th February
- Term ends on Wednesday 27th March
Summer 2023
- Term starts on Monday 15th April
- Half term is Tuesday 27th to Friday 31st May
- Term ends on Friday 23rd July
